本課程旨在說明基本管理功能、組織領導及管理的相關概念。介紹領導與管理理論之演進，以使學生了解在不斷改變、複雜的醫療系統之管理行為模式，包括規劃、組織、領導、控制、溝通、及決策。課程將會閱讀多種領域之管理科學相關研究及理論，並討論如何運用於護理工作環境。

　　The purpose of this course is to describe the basic management functions and concepts related to organizational leadership and management. The evolution of leadership and management theories are introduced to understand patterns of management behaviors in ever-changing complex health-care system, including planning, organizing, leading, controlling as well as communication and decision making. Relevant researches and theories based on several fields of management science were reviewed and discussed how to apply to nursing work environment.
