本課程延續家庭專科護理學(I)進階培訓之先備能力,旨在提供家庭專科護理師學生面對原住民族、離島及偏鄉地區民眾,以病人為中心,運用個案健康問題為導向的邏輯思考模式及批判性思維,透過臨床案例分析與討論方式,使學生得以統整所學之生理病理學、病因學、進階健康評估、臨床診斷以及治療等相關知識、議題、技能,並運用實証醫學和護理,建立適當之健康問題診斷與處置,整合社區資源設計文化合適性的改善策略與評價照護結果,提供社區民眾在接受急性醫療照護後適切之進階護理照護,達到促進及維護個人、家庭、團體和社區之整體健康。
Clinical reasoning is a set of skills necessary for nursing students to become an effective nurse practitioner. So this course aims to enable nursing students (1) to develop their knowledge and understanding of concepts related to the clinical reasoning and decision making to formulate appropriate care plan based on evidence-based healthcare; (2) to enhance their ability and skills in physical assessment based on the findings of the objective structured clinical examination(OSCE), differential diagnoses, and interpretation for laboratory data and diagnostic tests; (3) to prepare nursing students to become a good adult/gero- nurse
practitioner. This course involves introducing empirical observations and reflective thinking of clinical reasoning and implementing unfolding case studies. In simulation scenarios, students learn to practice focus physical exam, effectively collect meaningful data, analyze the results of medical imaging tests and lab data for differential diagnosis, and propose an appropriate patient-centered care plan. By so doing, nursing students also integrate all the knowledge of medical-surgical nursing, pathophysiology, etiology, medical imaging, physical assessment, pharmacology, and evidence-based healthcare into clinical practice.
