本課程是家庭專科護理師臨床實習的第二部分，旨在以個案為中心，運用邏輯思辯及批判性思維，統合階病理生理學、進階健康評估、進階藥理與治療學、家庭專科護理學(II)所學習之專業知識，進行個案急性臨床狀況穩定評估與緊急處置、蒐集並處理分析臨床訊息、進行臨床推理、鑑別診斷與檢驗檢查安排、實驗室檢驗與影像檢查判讀、介入治療與處置後再評估，整合社區資源與文化合適性的改善策略，提供社區民眾在接受急性醫療照護後適切之進階護理照護，達到促進及維護個人、家庭、團體和社區之整體健康。此實習課程增強家庭專科護理師學生在成人疾病症狀處置、技術與照護能力。至實習結束，每位學生需照護至少 10 位外科住院之急重症病情病人，以培養學生具備成人專科護理師所需專業核心知識與技能；同時反思透過參與病患照護，能如何促進照護品質與專科護理師角色功能發展。
The course is the second part of the clinical practice of family nurse practitioners (NPs), aims to train students to take the role of NPs. The practice is based the knowledge of advanced pathophysiology, advanced physical & health assessment, advanced pharmacology, and advanced family nurse practitioner (II). Through the practical training of multi-mode learning, students will enable to enhance their professional advanced practical skills, improve the quality of patient care, understand the cooperation mode between medical systems and the professional scope of professional nurses. By the end of the internship, each student needs to take care at least 10 patients with complex diseases hospitalized in internal medicine (emergency/severe disease), so as to train students to have the professional core knowledge and skills required by family nurse practitioners; at the same time, students could reflect on how to promote the quality of care and develop the role and function of NPs by participating in patient care.
