本課程旨在讓學生能了解護理研究進行的過程所需要的知識和方法，期能培養學生參與和執行護理研究的根基，並能有批判研究和撰寫研究計畫的基本能力；此外，研究倫理應有的考量亦為學習重點。

　　In this course, methods for analyzing and conducting research and evaluating research findings for use in nursing practice are examined. Content includes research concepts, research process, reading and critiquing research reports, finding and reviewing studies, constructing research problems, questions and hypotheses, conceptual/theoretical bases, major sampling plans, major methods for data collection, research designs, evaluating measurements and data quality, analyzing quantitative data, reporting research findings, and write-up a proposal.
