本課程旨經由探討文化與健康的互相建構關係,使學習者體認在多元文化氛圍中健康的多元意義、多種實踐與多樣發展可能性。主要提昇學習者下列素養。
1.批判性思考:提昇文化知識,以跳出對文化與健康的主觀看法,嘗試由不同文化的觀點來看待健康的理念與實踐。
2.溝通與合作:增進文化敏銳度,經由多元視野來理解文化與健康,以促進醫療團隊、護病之間的溝通,提昇合作關係。
3.關愛:經由對文化與健康多元觀點性的認識,能夠體認自身文化的特點以肯定自我,提昇自身文化自覺。並能以同理心尊重不同文化觀點的健康觀,進而提供他人心理或情緒的支持與協助。
期望經由提昇以上的素養,增進文化能力,使護理人員在面對不同文化背景個案的健康照護時,具備面對不同文化的態度,研究不同文化的能力,進而發展符合個案文化之照護。
This course examines the relationship between culture and health and help students recognize the meaning of multicultural perspectives. Students will engage in practices to acquire skills in a multicultural environment and develop the cultural competence. The course aims to improve students in the following areas:
1. Critical thinking: Increase cultural knowledge to be able to step back from subjective ideas regarding culture and health from different cultural perspectives.
2. Communication and team work capability: Enhance cultural acuity and understand culture and health from different viewpoints in order to improve medical teamwork.
3. Caring: put cultural knowledge into practice regarding the multiple perspectives of culture and health to improve self-affirmation and awareness of culture. Moreover, the ability to empathize and respect different culture.
Students are able to develop these skills and improve cultural competencies in order to provide culturally sensitive client-canter care.
